Memento Park is another example of the impact that communism and fascism has on Hungary. Today, this park operates as an open air museum to remind people of the time of Communism through the medium of various statues. There are statues of leaders like Marx, Lenin built here and they are built with utmost perfection. Just as a tip, on various city maps it is shown as memorial park. Built by the celebrated hungarian architect Ákos Eleod, it was created in the year 1993.
