Nice stop for kids and adults alike. The kids will like making the model parts move while viewing. For adults, I highly recommend turning around from the models and reading the plaques on the walls describing what life was like under the Soviet regime during the years of occupation. Bags are not allowed, but there are free lockers and coat check available on site.
A lovely place to go to with your family or friends. It boasts multiple exhibits of cities from Hungary, Austria and Germany and what makes it even better, you can interact with the exhibit! The tickets are adorable and you can get discounts if you're students.
A small place in the middle of Budapest. Really good for kids. Has amazing detail with a lot of stories to try and uncover. There are buttons that activate certain parts of the exhibit. Took us about an hour to casually walk through the place. Has a student discount
I spent hours here and could have stayed longer. Amazing models full of hidden details and things to see. Model train system endlessly entertaining and intricate. Great variety of regional landscapes. Interesting and informational historical miniatures too. Absolutely stunning and good value for money. Fully recommend, wonderful time well spent.
