Definitely more of a 3star hotel than 4star. Very basic rooms, we had a terrible view. Staff are very accommodating and got us extra pillows and towels on request. Breakfast was average, I assume traditional Hungarian dishes which was nice.
The hotel was good, the rooms were quite big. The only thing I didnt like was the breakfast, I think It should be bigger.
Nice bedroom, reasonably good breakfast (see below) and good bar.....convenient location close to the main rail station, metro and busses. Downside, No restaurant and only a small breakfast room which was inadequate for the number of guests. Other downside is they happily take stag/hen bookings.....and while we were there, did nothing about some moron who kept blowing (not playing) a trumpet for fun.......grrrr!!!
Arrived with a couple of friends and was told that the hotel was full because of a flood in the top floor, an hour later the issue was cleared, I think this was due to over booking as there was no sign of flooding.
Nice rooms, good breakfeast, next to the Metro & bus stations & Railway. Good hotel for the price we paid. Not for romantic couples. Take the pocket wifi for 5euros a day, it's a life saver.
