  • Near the main Budapest avenue, Silver hotel is well placed at 15 minutes walk or four metro stations (line M1) from downtown. A real 3 stars Hotel with clean and spacious rooms, AC and well heated in cold periods. Breakfast basic and always the same. Very close to metro station I recommend this hotel for short stays, no longer than 4-5 nights!

  • Didn't have an enjoyable stay here I'm afraid to say... Bed was uncomfortable would have been better off sleeping on floor, we stay 3 nights slept for maybe 12hours in total. One pillow was thick and soft, one pillow was wafer thin and hard, towels and duvets barely fitted over my partner and I as they were so small. It's a very noisy place (well it was for our stay) considering we stayed in November after heating had been on the room was too hot and the air in the room was so dry we felt like we were suffocating... The first two receptionists we encountered were friendly (only reason there's a second star) the third on check out didn't seem to care that we were even there... Didn't bother with breakfast so can not comment.

  • Stayed for 3 nights, and for the price I payed, this was a great hotel. The receptionist was friendly, and the room was what you would expect for the price. The room had an air-condition machine, which was much needed, because the temperature in the room was pretty high. I personally had no problems sleeping to the noise of the machine, but I can see some people might. The surroundings are nice, and close to shops and places to eat. Even better is, that there is a metro station very close, which can get you to the heart of the city in no time. There is a great view from the balcony on the top floor where you eat breakfast. The breakfast itself though, was pretty boring with a very limited selection.

  • The room was not cleaned, dust everywhere on the table and bed was very dirty with a lot of hairs. Night shift reception man was very rude and was not ready to help. Location was perfect and breakfast for money was ok.

  • Not worth it. Falling apart rooms, not for for the 3 star rating, horrible breakfast. Warm in the room. Avoid.
