If you are looking for some creative ideas to spend time with your loved one, plan a visit to the Thermal Beer Spa in Budapest. As the name suggests, this spa will let you and your partner dip into the couple-size tubs made of wood which are filled with natural beer ingredients and bubbling mineral water. The rooms are small and cozy and can accommodate six couples at once, so you can also go for a double or triple date. Being dipped in the beer and 36-degree mineral water filled tubs will not only be pleasurable but also will rejuvenate skin, hair, and ease your muscles. Thermal Beer Spa will also offer Hungarian appetizers to go with the Czech Ale on tap.

  • Nice place that you have to do for sure if you are there. Good beer and lovely warm water. This beer pool is a great experience. We wanted to do this also in Prague but it was double the price (like 70 euro per person). So this experience of 25 euros each was okay.

  • Great and super unique experience. We could relax and enjoy the nice beer presentation and snacks! Thank you very much!

  • A little pricey for what it is, but we did it for the experience. All in all, we had a blast. You are essentially in a hot tub with some beer ingredients mixed into the water, drinking as much beer as you want for 45 minutes. They bring out a small tray of what seemed like lard spread on small pieces of bread (we tried one and decided to stick to the beer).

  • Beautiful, warm baths where you can stay as long as you want. In October it didn't seem to crammed, but it was definitely not empty. It is a very relaxing spa experience which you must visit if in Hungary, but do not expect it to be adventure-ridden, as the main purpose is to relax and enjoy!

  • An evening well spent and worth every Hungarian nickel! There is a mineral bath for everyone--cool and warm. Get a massage or just relax in the pool. A great way to unwind from a day walking around town!
