Cafe Tortoni, Buenos Aires Reviews - Write a Review
Wow! Nice tango show! It's so crowded all the time. If you want to see the Tango Show, a reservation is necessary. They don't take a reservation over the phone. You should go to the place a couple hours in advance to reserve your table, but it's worth it.
Best cafe in BA. There are lots of paintings and antique stuff around. The coffee and sandwiches are great. The cafe also offers tango show for dinner time. Of course needs reservation.
You can go here for the history, but if you're looking for a great cup of coffee you should go elsewhere. Our waiter was a bit impatient as well. The location is historic and interesting to see, but it isn't a "must see" in Buenos Aires
The oldest and most famous café in Buenos Aires maintains its traditional ambiance even as it has become a major tourist attraction.
Great atmosphere and architecture! However, can’t see why people get a huge line to get since there are thousands of great cafés in Bsas just around the corner. The menu is very expensive... I don’t think I’d return with so many other cheaper and easier options.
