  • GREAT SPOT FOR A FIRST DATE!!! You want to take a potential lover somewhere and not pay an arm and a leg on some person you may only want to meet up with once. Take em here!!! This is a great place to walk and talk and get to connect with someone. You will get plenty of areas to sit down and great views.

  • A really nice place to visit while in Buffalo, but given the controlled parking situation for the marina, you will most likely end up having to walk quite a bit to actually get to the marina. There is an observation deck at the literal "end of the road", but otherwise, the memorial garden close to the entrance gate of the marina is quite popular for those that cannot trek all the way out to the end of the marina. Be really careful attempting to park illegally at the marina, the area is heavily patrolled and you WILL get cited.

  • I was actually there for the Basil Port of Call: Buffalo. Had a wonderful time. There are plenty of beautiful views along the Erie Basin Marina. It's a very good place to watch the sailboats and other ships. Also a nice place to relax and enjoy a cool breeze on a warm summer day. While there, you can walk down to the Naval and Serviceman's park and check out a couple of Navy ships, plus a submarine.

  • Always loved the breeze off the water. People watching as well as boats of interest in the marina. Remember the good trips we took in a small sailboat. Hot dogs and ice cream.

  • Wear your walking shoes and be prepared for weather changes! Nicely landscaped, but wish there was more sidewalks. Impressed by lookouts, views, and food options. Parking is free if you street park before the entrance, but it's a long walk in. Ample paid parking in the marina itself
