St Joseph’s Cathedral was established in 1847 and construction was completed by 1862. This huge cathedral is a gorgeous structure that provokes spirituality and peace within you. The ushers are helpful and full of information. The stained glass windows of the church are especially noteworthy. The cathedral’s organ is close to 125 years old and is a beautiful sight. The service here is equally amazing and is held on a regular basis.

St Joseph's Cathedral Reviews & Ratings
The church itself is beautiful. Went to a wedding there. The ceremony wasn't crazy long like some churches which was awesome. I've been to some Catholic ceremonies that lasted close to 90 minutes. This was 45 mins, tops. I liked the homily. Overall a great wedding location. I imagine the Sunday services are just as nice.
St. Joseph is the Catholic cathedral on the south side of Downtown Buffalo. The cathedral doesn't have much activity outside of mass times as the diocese is actually across from St. Louis church on Main St. on the north side of Downtown Buffalo. There is a small chapel behind the alter and stain glass windows can be found throughout the cathedral. The cathedral is well maintained and there is a small parking lot that is shared with the Erie County Courts, so the best bet is to find street parking when visiting on a weekday.
Beautiful cathedral! Incredible stained glass.
Beautiful architecture, fantastic and caring staff!
Beautiful church. Nice service too. I felt at home visiting.
