Vodopad Kotlite Reviews & Ratings

  • It was dry when visited, but I like the place a lot. Go there 2-3 hours before sunset because it is impossible to do cool sunset photo - it is deep in the valley.

  • Visited on a dry period, so the waterfalls were dried out and couldn't see the full beauty of nature there, but overall the place is amazingly calm and serene. I would definitely try to visit again when there is more rain. I would suggest it for a quick walking tour or an outing with kids, but be careful, as there are some steep places there and one could fall easily.

  • Great choice for short trip

  • Completely dry at time of visit. In order to see the waterfall one should go there in early spring. To reach the place go to the Bukorovski Monastery and then follow a dirt road to the waterfall.

  • I got the feeling of, "Oh, that was it?" And so did the other visitors feel as well. It is a magnificent view, but you know there is more to see, you just can't reach it. We tried to find a path to the lower path of the waterfall, but no luck. Guess you need some inside information how to find it, and we missed that part. Well, we got a good workout trying to find trail to lower part, I got muscle fever up to my ears at moment. Terrain is very up and down, and some parts you can't even walk on, too steep. It was an adventure for sure. It's bubbles in the water, just like sparkling water, but I'm not sure it's the correct gas here, the name River Dracul tells me otherwise.
