Quite expensive and not allowed to byo confectionery or drinks. Staff monitoring audience in regards to cellphone use and shoes on seats is a bit over the top and often more distracting than the people doing these things.
Enjoyed the movie. Start time 4pm. Don't understand why they wouldn't let us in to sit down until 3 minutes to 4pm.
Wheelchair users only can sit in one small boxed in area near front of Cinema. Makes you feel NOT a part of the group or friends. Has new disability toilets and was refurbished in 2017. Takens Companion Card which let's Carer in for $1.00. Self opening front doors and push button open disability toilets door. Friendly staff and great environment. Medium size screens.
I love watching all the greatest new releases with comfortable seating, screening and audio and that's why I'm giving Grand cinema a 5 star review! The staff were incredible, their swift gestures and tearing of loose weary ticket paper with utmost care and urgency reminds the customer to respect the local establishment, the food was extremely affordable, with the finest snack bar and pricing, and who can forget the Grand Cinema website, which has slim black text contrasting the dark maroon background, thus improving the eyesight of any eager customer. However, in contrast to the previous mentioned topics, I extremely dislike the toilets: when I needed to do a number two in the potty, I could very clearly hear Toto's "Africa" ( the same song that was played when my wife was assassinated by a Nigerian priest) and for this reason alone I am giving this place a one star review.
I had a very nice experience here. I am a grand cinemas member and it is great. Booking tickets through the app and getting great prices... everyone I've dealt w8th here was very nice and helpful too :)
