If you follow the river Bunol down from the city park, it eventually splits off into another river, the Charca de las Palomas. Following that river will bring to a pretty waterfall and cave and pool. There's no waterfall in the dry season unless it has recently rained though. It is one of the town's nicest natural attractions. Right next to the pool are picnic tables. You can bathe in the water if you wish; just wear rubber sandals.

    • There is a parking lot quite far where you can leave your car. From there, you have to trek along the pedestrian access to reach the waterfall.
