  • Impressive structure to take in. One of several spans that I consider "mega lifts" where the entire bridge is the main truss lift span and as a result the lift span is incredibly long. I believe that this bridge and the Arthur Kill Railroad Bridge of similar design (the railroad bridge next to the Goethals Bridge on Staten Island) are the two longest lift bridges in the world.

  • I love being at the train bridge drinking my coffee and reading the newspaper and watching the boats and barges go by and people are fishing trying to catch a striper. Great place for a walk or ride a bike too.

  • Newly renovated park and bike path along the picturesque canal. Free parking. Kid park with water feature. Cover picnic area. Close to quaint shops.

  • A lovely spot for picnics or long walks; kid friendly and pet friendly. Watch a series of boats and ships cruise by while you enjoy the view. Don't miss the obscured trails along the way! Definitely a special spot in Buzzards Bay.

  • A must visit location. This historic train bridge is such a beautiful landmark. Check with The Cape Cod Flyer Train to see if it will be making its way over this bridge and watch it operate.
