The Cadiz Cathedral, also known as ‘Catedral Nueva’ in Spanish, was built in the 18th century and took around 116 years to complete! Built in High Baroque and Neoclassical style, it is topped by a yellow tiled dome. This element adds a Moorish feel to the cathedral. Visitors are granted access to the roof of the cathedral to take a closer look at the dome. From the top, one gets beautiful views of Cadiz. The Cathedral also has a museum. On display are religious paintings and sculptures.

More a museum then a cathedral. Lots of statues and paintings. The cathedral also needs some maintenance soon, the ceiling is falling down. It’s nice too see though and the tower provides a great view. No pictures allowed in the cathedral unfortunately!
It's fantastic beautiful inside! It costs 6 Euro to entry (+tower) and 4 Euro for students, but it's great inside and the view from tower is spellbinding!!!
Sadly you can't really experience the beauty of this astonishing building because it has been turned into an exhibition hall for religious iconography. Complete with audio tour stuffed with dull religious music and boring commentary. I just wanted to see the building and enjoy a bit of tranquility. Very little chance of that here. Disappointing. However, the view from the top of the tower is almost worth the admission charge by itself.
Nice place with a good view. Unfortunately they had exhibits in front of the altars which took the historic value of the place.
What a beautiful mixture of architecture. Has one of 7 concave mirror in the world where you can spy on the town in live action. Cadiz is a great town.
