Golden Pond Target Range, the self-regulated shooting range at Land Between the Lakes in Trigg County offers free shooting in the nature reserve. They offer rifles and pistols on a first-come first-serve basis for multiple shooting enthusiasts. The targets are not provided, you can aim as you wish and enjoy shooting. The trash and the spent shells are disposed off accordingly every day. To offer perfect cleanliness to the visitors, they keep the site closed every Wednesday from 8am till 11am. There are two ranges for simultaneous shooting –the 175-yard rifle range has six shooting benches while the 50-yard pistol range has four shooting benches. If you wish to practice archery, there are equipment on rent and archery practice range in the site.
