GET IN & AROUND

• By Bus: There are daily bus services to Cafayate from Buenos Aires, Salta and Tucuman. There are 4 to 6 daily departures from these places and the tickets are available from the main bus station. From Salta, you can book a day tour and the return ticket can be used on a different day.
• By Rental Car: Though car renting is costlier sometimes, especially if travelling alone, it is the best way to get in and around Cafayate. There are a number of car renting companies and you can pick a cheaper deal with little research. There are also few guided tours available, but certainly not recommended.
