  • A daughter had visited some years before and told us we could not miss going there! She was right, it is a bizarre story with history, culture, hydro power and gardening....and a magical atmosphere especially at night.(Lots of bats too for the enthusiasts). Free parking for campers for one night is inspired, though it will be even better when campers can pay to stay a second night at the new site up the road. The vision of the new owners is to see this piece of Australian history preserved and perhaps even partially rebuilt. The enthusiasm was infectious ! Great place to visit.....weird and wonderful.

  • Such a beautiful place! Definitely worth the time to see it!! All the plants are just amazing to look at, along with the castle. So many little paths to follow and things to look at. Thank you Pablo for being our tour guide, giving us all the information about the park and showing us around!! :)

  • Really Cool place. The guides were very personable and full of information. It's worth a visit during the day and an 8 pm tour as well. The lighting is magical and you never know what critters you'll see. If you're nearby, or thinking of it, get in and support this truly unique piece of multicultural history.

  • I really enjoyed my visit. While the historic nature of this place is fantastic it is the story behind it that is truly inspirational. I can away in awe of what Jose achieved.

  • Very interesting attraction. Free camping with admission and great camping facilities. Owner, Mark, is really hands on and was at the park both times we were there. The staff are friendly but sometimes are not that knowledgeable about the park. If you get a chance to talk to some of the permanent staff or the owner they will answer all your questions.
