  • This is a must have experience, if you are visiting Cairns. You get to experience the 360 degree view including the surrounding Rainforest as you are getting gently drifted to the mountain top over the tree canopies. View from the top is breathtaking and should not be missed if you are visiting Cairns. This place is operated by friendly and very helpful staff, you bound to be greeted with a big smile and warm welcome as you enter the visitor center. Don't forget to take the Rainforest boardwalk to the viewing platform to see the gorgeous Barron waterfall with all its glory. If you are lucky, you may also get to spot the illusive Cassowary too.

  • Worth the money. Fantastic views and the experience lasts a while. We took the train up and cableway down, would recommend doing this. The views are different both ways. Good value for money.

  • A breath taking ride over the lush canopy of the rain forest with the distant mountains as a picturesque background. It had a meditative quality about it. Loved every moment of the ride.

  • Loved it. Don't get caught out as I did, if you want a cable car with the clear see-through bottom, you have to book it ahead and pay an extra $20 a person. Our brochure had a picture showing it but didn't tell us the rest.

  • Absolutely worth it! Staff are REALLY friendly and helpful. The views are amazing! Tip: grab the self guide brochure. Description of the different parts of the trip are super helpful
