Incredible views. You can get on an off the cable car and complete the trip in your own time, with the opportunity to walk around the national park at each stop. My partner and I were able to have a car to ourselves.
A beautiful way to experience the rainforest from above and below. Make sure to get the ranger tour at the first stop up the hill. Very worthwhile to understand more about how the forest grows.
Beautiful views, a long ride making it worth the money and the other end is the village of Kuranda which is just the most calm, chill place ever. Eat there, shop there, sit on a bench and read as lizards come and check you out, it's super nice!
Amazing experience going up the skyrail through the treetops. The town itself and the markets weren’t overly exciting. Train ride back down was a nice way to spend the afternoon and experience some history.
Train ride was great with incredibly friendly staff. Unfortunately commentary was hard to hear and kids found the ride too lengthy. Kuranda markets disappointing with focus on cheap tacky souvenirs. Food venues plentiful yet staff either exhausted or simply unfriendly. Skyrail definitely the highlight. Disappointingly an extra charge applies to get back to the beginning once you have spent $250 onto the tours. It would be polite and courtesious to provide a courtesy shuttle to take you back to your vehicle.
