Al-azhar Park, Cairo Reviews

  • The only actual park in Cairo. A beautiful spot to walk around while surrounded by the historic core of the city. I love combining a visit to the Citadel with a visit to the park. The playground is a bit rough but it's okay. Avoid going at all on a Friday as it's way too crowded. Going earlier in the day before 2 pm is your best bet on Saturdays. The restaurants are good as well. Grab a crepe at a small stand next to the lake and enjoy your walk.

  • Amazing park that I've ever seen. I can see beautiful sunset and see the beautiful city on the hill. Many visitors in the evening come to there with their families. There is a big restaurant in the middle of pool. Not only that, there are a small canal and small water fountain. You can see some fishes in the pool. It's suitable for you to enjoy with your families. Your children can playing on the large and green park. That's my favourite park so far ❤

  • Good and lovely park to bring your family and children, it has a large play area for children but it is very congested. The views from the top is breathtaking and you can see citadel in the distance. Overall its a beautiful park. Lovely kids play area Masha Allah.

  • The largest and cleanest green park in Cairo. It's a fantastic place to go alone or with groups. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view or have a coffee. The lookout point is nice, and you have a great view of the Citadel. The border wall overlooks the city and it's amazing if you're there during the sunset call to prayer. Perfect place for a picnic or to just read a book. Weekdays are a much better idea, weekends and especially holidays are packed and a ton of kids.

  • The park is beautiful. Don't try to video tape anythinf as they become very deffensive... even thought they sell you a ticket to make videos 😂
