Reaching 187 meters into the sky, Cairo Tower is undeniably one of Cairo’s most distinguishable landmarks, and one which is definitely worth a visit. Whether you’re travelling to Egypt to explore its many ancient sights and attractions, or whether you’re planning on have a relaxing holiday by the Red Sea, you’ll almost certainly want to spend a few days in Cairo. With so many things to see and do in and around the city, it can be difficult trying to decide which are the best attractions to visit. One excellent attraction is Cairo Tower, and it’s also a very convenient attraction because it’s located so close to the center of Cairo
Pleasantly not disappointed with the whole experience. Food was good (زي مطاعم النوادي). But they really need to improve their entrance/ ticketing process.
A great building in one of the best neighborhoods of Egypt. Nice view, clean, and nice food. I haven't tried it by night and I recommend a visit if you have not been there before.
Too much waiting time for the elevator, so better to go from 8 am to 3 pm. Very nice view from up. If you like photography it's better to go at sunset but to catch that time up you have to be 3 hours before sunset there. Cairo is covered by a thick layer of dust extending for kilometers in the sky.
On Fridays it's so crowded. I spent an hour and a half in line just to get up top. Happy for 10 minutes and then another hour and a half to go down. Only one elevator is there and no stairs are allowed for use except in emergencies.
