  • It's a unique magical experience. If you're a collector, orient enthusiast, or a traveler, you'd find a great variety of handmade and finely crafted artifacts and beautiful items for your home, office or as a remarkable gift for any occasion. After a pleasant long stroll between the cozy shops in old Islamic Cairo, surrounded by beautiful historical buildings you can have a delicious dinner at Naguib Mahfouz restaurant with oriental live music playing in an atmosphere of an old, long-gone era.

  • Nice vibrant Bazaar. Weird part was a security guard accompanied my group right around for security purposes! He then wanted some tips to accompany us. But the folks in market pretty friendly.

  • I love this bazar! They literally have everything to offer and it's worth taking the time to get a bit lost in the alleys, especially at night! Try one of their sugar cane or mango juices, so good! Only downside is if you look like a tourist you will definitely get a lot of unwanted attention..good bargaining skills are crucial. Not a suitable place for people who don't like big crowds

  • Great place, must haggle over the prices try to achieve at least a 50% reduction. The people are generally not very pushy and will leave you alone when you politely say no thank you. Only disappointment is that much of the goods offered is the same

  • A great place for tourists. Lots of souvenir items. Nice atmosphere and welcoming shop owners.
