Khan El-khalili, Cairo Reviews
Traditional Egyptian bazaar, everything you can ever think of. Clothes, gifts, souvenirs etc. Teaches you bargaining 101, fun one of a kind experience. Avoid on rush hours as it is very busy to get there and move around the bazaar at peak times. As the locals, they know best!
It was a unique experience. I'm not a fan of bargaining still I enjoyed my time there. Quote a price that is lower than what you'd expect to pay and make your way up till you get a deal. If you are lucky you'll be able to get it at a lower price than what you expected to pay initially. If bargaining and shopping is not your thing, then there are plenty of food outlets around which offer street food and beverages.
A lively Bazaar filled with souvenirs and local craft goods. You can get clothing, art, brass carvings, and any number of things from the vendors here. Prices are reasonable and can be negotiated. Better to cross the street and go to the local market where prices are much lower! Worth a visit when in Cairo. It's an easy taxi ride away from Tahrir Square.
A historical street, with lots of historical buildings. There is A lot of walking, shopping, sight seeing and eating involved. It's very crowded on weekends and at night. Very hard to park, so it's better you use public transportation on your way. Take care of your wallets.
Good place to buy cheap cool stuff and clothes that represent Egypt. Just my advice go really early like in 3 or 2 in the afternoon its kinda hot but its not crowded so you can go throw it really fast and see everything you want.
