  • Amazing experience! The atmosphere is truly Arabian. Some very interesting items on sale. Be prepared to haggle your socks off.

  • One Of The Most amazing market in Egypt. You can't have enough of it visitors need. at least 2 days to see it. I Went after 6 Pm it was crowded but I felt the real Egypt here, it has a vey unique atmosphere that you will never find in any other place in the world.

  • Bargain, bargain and bargain. Ask for the same piece in all the shops. It will make all the difference if you accompanied a friend from the locals. Be very careful of pickpocketers. Best time is at around 6 pm. Use the third line underground metro and get off at "Bab El Shereya" باب الشعريه You'll then have to walk your way through the old streets of Cairo.

  • Wonderful place and should not be missed at any cost. If you want to see the real local culture this is the place. Good food, good shopping, offcourse keeping in Egyptian tradition you have to negotiate but good items and decent prices. I go there mostly for good local food. Some of the restaurants here have the best grill you will ever taste. You are in Egypt try a pigeon.

  • Pictures worth 1000 words. Knock your self out. This place is amazing and that is it. Your trip to Egypt will be incomplete of you don't visit this part of town. If you love traditional markets, you better come early because you will want to spend all day here. This market looks even more amazing at night. At night they put on some stuneshing leds that brighten up all the buildings inside the mains street. The small alleys and all the small shops will are endless. When you think you already saw it all, just turn around and there you will find another large path with 100 more shops.
