  • What an experience. Honestly one of the most exciting, fascinating experiences ever. If you come to Egypt you really need to make the time & effort to visit this landmark, the history, the architect, the construction theories these pyramids have is just worth listening to and experiencing! Me & my wife had the privilege of climbing the pyramid and it was just phenomenal. However all I’d say is be aware of the con artists that linger around the pyramids, they “offer” to take pictures of you and then demand you pay them, they constantly keep hounding & pestering, but overall well worth the journey to see the pyramids!

  • Amazing. A must see. There is no way to capture the true size and scale, photos do no justice. If you want to go inside expect an extremely long line and the temps inside can be hotter than outside. Take your time and explore all the area has to offer. There are several smaller pyramids, small museums and crypts.

  • he Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day El Giza, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. Based on a mark in an interior chamber naming the work gang and a reference to the Fourth Dynasty Egyptian pharaoh Khufu, some Egyptologists believe that the pyramid was thus built as a tomb over a 10- to 20-year period concluding around 2560 BC. Initially standing at 146.5 metres (481 feet), the Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for more than 3,800 years until Lincoln Cathedral was finished in 1311 AD.

  • It is amazing to see the pyramid up close. It is enjoyable to compare yourself to the size of big blocks they used to build the pyramids. There is an option to go inside for an additional fee (300 Egyptian pounds) but you cannot take photos inside.

    • I think the Bent Pyramid has recently been opened to the public. As far as I know, Khufu’s Pyramid and Khafree’s Pyramid can also be visited. But keep in mind that the entrance fee is different for each one.
