Best Time To Visit Calgary

Unlike the rest of the western part of Canada, Calgary sports a dry weather for the better part of the year as opposed to the humidity coupled with rain and snow that’s common in British Columbia and the western counterparts. The best months to visit Calgary are from June to August and from November to March. The summer sets in by June and there are a variety of events that take place between then and August, if you don’t mind the crowds, it’s a great time to be in Calgary.

Come November, cue snowfall. In spite of the bone chilling cold, visitors still flock the city, particularly for the sightings of the Northern Lights that are brilliantly visible from Calgary. Winter sports too are in plenty and provide quite the pull for winter tourism.

Spring and fall is a nice time for a low-key holiday as crowds are few and lodgings offer off-season rates!
