Fish Creek Provincial Park, Calgary Reviews

  • This place is huge and I love it. There is a bunch of paths that are both paved and unpaved. It’s a great place for biking, walking, and water activities for the family. There is also a man made beach for those who are interested in going to the beach for the day or picnic spots for those who want to have a bit of a camp out. There are also public restrooms with maps and the name of the spot where you’re at and how far each place is from where you are. You can literally have a different adventure everyday here. We also had the pleasure of seeing different kinds of wildlife like deer and various birds.

  • There are so many pathways (paved, gravel, and biking single-track) that it is basically a maze. Surprisingly, some decent downhill biking sections for in Calgary. I only wish the park maps would so the single-track trails as well. For the average park goer, it's gorgeous with a good mix of forested and grassy areas to wander through. There are multiple picnic areas as well, in both open grassy areas atop the hill as well as within the trees and along the river.

  • The beach was clean!! We had so much fun. There were lots of people but it didn't feel crowded as the beach is wide enough. Had 3 playgrounds on it and 2 changing facilities and ample parking as well. We loved our experience here today

  • We are so lucky to have a park like this in our city. As a mountain biker I absolutely love having this park so close to home. A few minutes from the house and I'm in my happy place on the trails. The park offers a wide variety of trails for all skill levels from pavement to shale, to single track. Perfect for evening and weekend rides to burn off the stresses of the office. Can't wait for the snow to melt so I can get back out there again.

  • Used to live up the hill and loved coming for morning bike rides and evening walks. Finally had the opportunity to bring my kids and they loved it too. Great for all kinds of fun.
