Han Corea Restaurant, Calgary Reviews

  • The best Korean cuisine restaurant in Calgary, no doubt. The place is cozy, and the food here are extraordinarily good. You order a menu, and rice/water is self serve which means you can get an unlimited amount of rice. I usually manage to finish 3-4 bowls of rice with pork soup(these are my favourite and they're hands down the best). They also give you side dishes beforehand which are also unlimited and they constantly check with you whether you want them refilled or need anything else. The place can get quite busy so would recommend reserving but personally I haven't had to wait for too long by just dropping in. Would definitely spend all my money here no regret

  • This restaurant is a hidden gem and is a must-go Korean restaurant in Calgary/Western Canada. Han Corea specializes in pork soups that are not easily found elsewhere so I make sure that I come here whenever I visit my family in Calgary; that's saying a lot because I have easy access to numerous Korean restaurants in Toronto/North York. I dare say this place is better than many I frequent in Toronto. My personal favourite is their clear pork soup ($15 range) that I can season to my taste. The portion of meat that they put in the soup is very generous and is definitely a value meal. This place is unique in their high quality and varied Korean home-style side dishes that are all-you-can-eat. I have been to this place well over 10 times since this place started and they have consistently been excellent. The restaurant is cozy but gets pretty crowded so is suitable for family dining. I plan to visit repeatedly in the future visit to Calgary too. 😊

  • This is my husband's go to for korean food! The food is a little pricier than you would expect from a Korean restaurant but they have unlimited tea and rice. Their menu is quite small too but less choice is better if you ask me. The food is delicious. The meals for 2 people are very generous portions and we have brought home food before. Try to go outside of peak times as this place has limited seating and tends to have lineups out the door. Also this may be one of the only places in Calgary open till 1am!!

  • Best authentic Korean restaurant in town. Has variety of menus to choose from, and side dishes are surely the best. Been there several times but it's better to go on weekdays when it's not so full. They also open on Tuesdays now. Service is always good, and i recommend making reservations. Highly recommend everyone to try :)

  • I swear this restaurant is a secret amongst those in the know and enjoy good Korean food. The place and decor is very unassuming but the food is very filling and generous. I’m not sure what kind of rice they have in the unlimited rice cooker but even that is a secret joy.
