I just went there and I can easily say it is so far the best Ramen I tried in Calgary. I tried the Spicy Chicken Ramen and it was so good! It tasted really authentic and real and tasty. At first I was a bit skeptical of the price, but it was worth it! The Ramen only took 15 Minutes and the staff were incredibly friendly! I would really recommend this place and easily come back!
Love this place for ramen. The food always comes out nice and hot, and the staff there is amazingly friendly!!! Prices are good, and they have lots of add on options if you want more toppings. They are also pretty good with nut allergies; my nephew is allergic to most nuts (peanuts and hazelnuts especially) and they're always very accommodating and happy to make sure he's safe.
Fantastic service, food, and atmosphere! We showed up at 11:30am on a Sunday when the restaurant opened and by 11:45am there were 25 people in the restaurant. Great sauces to go along with your meal. We had the salmon poke tacos, tofu, spicy chicken ramen, and California poke bowl and were very satisfied. Good size portions and well priced.
I really really really wanted this to be my go to Ramen spot. My boyfriend lives in the area and we are both obsessed. Unfortunately the first time we went, I ordered the Vegan Ramen and got violent food poisoning about a half hour after leaving the restaurant. However, giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and assuming it may have been a fluke, I went back. This was a terrible mistake. This time, my boyfriend got violently ill after eating there. Please Jinya... please wash your veggies. It makes a huge difference. We really want to like you guys because the food tastes great but the food poisoning is murder.
The Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen is unreal! The broth is absolutely amazing and JINYA offers a noodle "refill" for $2.50; but, you likely will not need more noodles as the dish itself is a generous portion for only $12.50. The staff was very attentive, the restaurant was nicely decorated, and the hours are great (11:00/30am-10:00pm every weekday/end). I highly recommend this restaurant!
