The Military Museums - Review
The army is often taken for granted and as a result, under appreciated. There are certain periods in history where the army has played a crucial role in either defending their own land, or helping liberate the lands of others. How much ever is said about the armed forces is enough; the people at the Military Museum took quite a decent swing at it.
With eight museums within its premises, the Military Museums is dedicated to Canada’s army, air force and navy to inform the visitors about the victories, tragedies and sacrifices of the armed forces.

The Military Museums, Calgary Reviews
This was our third time here, and we’ve always loved it. So important our young people understand our military history. One full day here is not enough. I would, for an extra fee, love to have a veteran or currently serving/enlisted come and take small groups (adults only) through here. There is so much to read and see, and long the way I find I often have questions. I’d love that opportunity.
Wow what a fantastic museum. There over 3 hrs and still did not see it all. So many artifacts and displays and exhibits. Very educational. Worth the time. Excellent history lesson. One of the best military museums I have ever been to
Took our dad here for fathers day. There is some really important things about our military history both locally and Canada wide. I want to go again. All the staff were enthusiastic and eager to answer any questions!
Very worthwhile museum visit. The exhibits were very well done. The T54 tank and the shot up scout car were of particular interest to me. I go to the museum rach time I am in Calgary which is once every two or three years. Good, interesting place.
A true gem! I have been here many times and each time I learn something new. The museum focuses on the units from Calgary as well as some provincial units. The galleries are top quality, with a lot of detail. The newer sections are the navy and RCAF sections. Again tons of information, my 6 year old daughter found it fascinating. I have yet to see the outside section of the cold war era in the separate hangars. I will have to return another day to visit this section. A definite must see if you're interested in Canadian history and/or, military history.
