The army is often taken for granted and as a result, under appreciated. There are certain periods in history where the army has played a crucial role in either defending their own land, or helping liberate the lands of others. How much ever is said about the armed forces is enough; the people at the Military Museum took quite a decent swing at it.
With eight museums within its premises, the Military Museums is dedicated to Canada’s army, air force and navy to inform the visitors about the victories, tragedies and sacrifices of the armed forces.
- The Military Museum is wheelchair accessible.
- For seniors, students and youth, the ticket prices are CAD USD 5 and USD 4 respectively.

Amazing. Lots of great things to see and very moving. Spent over 2 hours there and still didn't quite see everything. We especially liked the Vietnam War section they had setup. Would highly recommend everyone to pay a visit.
Great place to learn about the development of Canada's Armed Forces. The Volunteers are knowledgeable and always happy to answer a question. The museum is great for kids who want to zip through and look at artifacts and pictures, as well as history buffs who want to read every display.
This place is amazing it's a full day out. We got there early and still did not see everything. Lots of very interesting history, lots to learn and take in and the displays are excellent. I couldn't believe how much there was to look at. All of the museums were excellent. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly it was a shame the guy at the desk where you pay wasn't he could of been more polite and smile but apart from that it was excellent
Can't recommend this place enough. Great history and lots of interesting stuff for Tuesday kids to learn and look at. Great mix of history and respect for veterans. A few great interactive things as well. Take your family.
The staff were very passionate, informative and helpful. This is a beautiful facility and they do an amazing job of honouring our history and the contributions of Canadians who have sacrificed so we can have the freedoms we enjoy today. I highly recommend you visit this Museum and dedicate enough time to appreciate the exhibits.
