Beypore beach is a famous destination for tourists and historians. The beach is situated close to the mouth of the river Chaliyar around 10 kilometers away from Kozhikode in Kerala. Historically, Beypore was an important trade port and maritime center. In fact, the port was busy as it was then at the center of trade and transactions of the Arabian merchants from West Asia, Chinese travelers and later Europeans.
The major attraction here would be the age-old shipbuilding industry tradition which still continues to this date.

Best place for refreshments and walking. There is "Pulimutt" and we can walk through it and about 1km long. Best place for evening visit.
Basically it is not a beach, it may have been before but now the beach is too dirty and only little place is beach like where it is dirty. The main attraction of this place is the bridge which runs till the sea from the shore, it is about a kilometer long bridge where you can go a kilometer off the shore to see the sea. But it is a nice place to visit because the bridge takes you right inside the sea..
For the first time in a while, i was able to see dolphins today. We were here not that early in the morning, but 8 and walked all the way to the end of Pulimut in Beypore side. There were 4+ dolphins and they were in a playful mood. I could see the parents and children who were there with us were enjoying the view and seeing those rare animals up close being themselves. We could also see some old fishermen fishing with a hook 🎣 on a small country boat on his own and getting so much fish. It was a sight to see. I recommend going there earlier because the sun gets hotter after 8.30. and in the evenings, especially on weekends the place is crowded. So, avoid those timings and your visit will be a memorable one.
Best picnic spot. Evening sunset view point. Jungar service in chaliyar river. Good enjoyments for evening trips.
It's great to spend your time here... The view w is amazing around sunset... The jangar service is really an experience to feel...
