Just walked round this garden having paid 9.50 euros each. The lady in the ticket office was charming and helpful and the walk from the entrance was amazing with beautiful paintings of birds, rabbits & plants, to entice and excite the visitor. But what a disappointment followed. Although there were many explanatory boards they were only in French - not at all helpful for tourists from other nations like us. The animals were in tiny enclosures and we felt sorry for the African tortoise all alone in his barren run. The whole garden seemed lacking in colour and dry. We wondered if there was a hosepipe ban? The cafe was shut, in the middle of the tourist season, so strange and unfriendly. We had waited years for the opportunity to see this garden but found ourselves disappointed. 😔
Privately owned. Might seem a little quaint to some but lovely with kids. Highly recommended.
