Time Tunnel Museum - Review
Time for some historical learning in Cameron! Visit the Time Tunnel museum in order to take a plunge into the world of past with a vintage collection of memorabilia and historic exhibits. Interestingly, this collection does not belong to any organisation but to a Cameron local who is struck with a desire to preserve history. From colonial era to years after independence, this museum showcases everything that belongs to Cameron islands. So, as you just walk through it, you will see a classic pubhouse, Chinese coffee shop ('Kopitiam'), traditional hair saloon, Peranakan dressing room and even an old kitchen, kept in original form with cans and utensils of extinct brands. Apart from that, you will also get to know about the famous personalities of Cameron such as the legendary Thai silk trader Jim Thompson, who disappeared mysteriously from the Cameron Highlands in 1967; Singapore's first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, and P. Ramlee, a well-known musician.

Time Tunnel Museum, Cameron Highlands Reviews
This museum is enchanted with lots of antiques and memorabilia of the past that are rare and possibly forgotten in time. There are tonnes of stuff s in there which I had never seen before. There are quite a few re-imagined sets which are great for photo opportunity. There is also a section which is dedicated to the history and mystery of Cameron Highlands. That's really an interesting section. It might take 40 minutes to 1 hour to see everything (still depends on how long you like to see stuff). Overall its a good experience. The entrance fee is fairly cheap too.
We spent about an hour here looking around. It's well worth the visit. It'll teach you the interesting history behind Cameron Highlands and it's famous disappearance. Entry was cheap (I think 5RM per person). They have toilets and a strawberry farm to the side of it. Would recommend.
Best place to go if you love something antique and historic. Really brings you back to the old times. There is another branch at Ipoh which is much spacious n bigger than this. Hope I can go there one day. Price: RM6 for adults, RM4 for kids. But this place might be a bit creepy for kids because the light is a bit dim to bring the old times feels.
Located at the corner of the shops..need to walk a bit. Exciting place with plenty of old fashioned equipments.. Memorable design of goods..entry fee of rm6 for adult and rm4 for children.. Not suitable for wheelchair users bcause the way to get in to the time tunnel museum need to pass along stairway and every section in the museum, users need to walk with up and down dividers. Please be careful that some items are cannot be touch and play. 😊
It's full of nostalgic memories, one of the best time tunnel museum. Indeed, bringing parents and grandparents will be more fun as they can be the best guide along the way. Entrance fee is rm6, car park recommended to find space once you see the signboard as it is along the roadside, hard to turn back if pass by museum.
