This botanical park is ambitious. Brazil doesn’t have any gardening-style heritage of its own, so it seems to have imported everything Europe had to offer into this beautiful package. With nearly 45 thousand acres of gardens built up, and a further 20 thousand planned, complete with gardens, restaurant, cafes and viewpoints, the park could potentially become the greatest attraction in the entire region.

Currently there are 22 fully developed gardens, representing the garden layout styles of 12 countries, including Spain, France, Switzerland, England, Scotland, Mexico, and Canada. There are over 800 species of plants, fountains, floral labyrinths and mazes, birds and butterflies. The best time to visit is spring or autumn.
