The Ong Temple located on the banks of the Can Tho River is one of the significant Chinese architectures of Can Tho region. Dating back to 19th century, the Ong Temple is dedicated to Kuang Kung who is the symbol of courage, justice, honour, loyalty and intelligence. Tucked inside the Guangzhou Assembly hall, the temple always carries a soothing vibe with the constantly burning incense sticks emanating wonderful aroma. During the opening and at regular intervals, you will get to see the lighting process of the incense sticks which are hung on the tall poles. To the interior, you will see the right screen dedicated to the Fortune Goddess and the left screen dedicated to General Ma Tien.
