Cockington Green Gardens, Canberra Reviews
A surprisingly fun time is to be found exploring the tiny town of Cockington Green, with its truly amazing banzai shrubbery to compliment the small scale buildings and people. Little vignettes can be found amongst the little figures, and a truly impressive range of buildings can be found in their international section with everything from a Hungarian peasant village to the treasury at Petra. The only disappointment is the Cafe, which serves mainly pre-packed sandwiches and cakes, not quite the cozy English village feel. Absolutely try the mini steam train, it's a grand novelty!
It's one of the best beautiful flower gardens I've ever seen. It's very disable friendly and has wheelchairs for them. The area isn't very big and it also has a small train moving around for those who prefer sitting and watching instead of walking.
A beautiful well maintained tourist attraction in Canberra. Must see. Lawns are kept pristine and has a train ride for kids. The miniature collection is just amazing. So well done
The miniature garden was very interesting and there were many photo ops. Overall, it was quite an amazing place due to the memorable, petite figures and houses in there. There were also multiple snippets of humour in tiny places for keen eyes. This is a great place for anyone to go to, with a bug or small group. However, it can be quite cold so a jacket and beanie will be required.
Worth a visit if you are in the area. Well done detailed village and embassy. Done with some humour if you take the time to look. Working interactive train, windmill and a couple of other things.
