  • It's took around 3 hours to get there from Sydney. Beautiful road to drive .Went for a short visit like 2 to 3 days. Done Camping. Lot's of Halal Food Options there, But less than Sydney. It's very Hot here. Lot's of historical place and less traffic than Sydney. Good for camping and quality time :)

  • From this lookout you can see whole Canberra, amazing view. It was quite windy so don’t forget to take your jackets and caps. If you go 3min down the walking trail you can have a better and more closer look at the view. Great point to take photos.

  • This location is definitely worth the visit as it has the best views of Canberra. It's really beautiful to stand at the lookout and get a full appreciation of the city. I went on a Monday while in Canberra for four days, so it was nice and quiet at that time. It was easy to access and a free activity.

  • Mount Ainslie is one of the best viewpoints in Canberra. We drive up some nights to take a look at the city and its ever expanding boundaries. The night lights are beautiful. Canberrans also head here during eclipse and other occasions to get a good view. If you are new to the city then make sure you head to Mount Ainslie at least once.

  • One of the locations that has to be ticked off in Canberra … with a great view of the main strip over the War Memorial, Anzac Parade, the lake, and both old and new parliament houses. Looks like there are paths heading down from the lookout so it would be worth finding out about visiting the site via a longer hike.
