This large and luxurious hotel has 418 rooms and 34 suites. Every room has its own private balcony and there is a choice of 3 restaurants on the property – a sports bar, a steakhouse, and a Japanese restaurant and a sports bar. This hotel is pricier than others in Cancun, leading to a more mature crowd. Be prepared to get deeper into your pocket if you decide to stay here.

  • Good place to stay if you have the opportunity but get ready to pay a hidden fee of $25 each day for using the pool and all the hotel amenities. Whether you use them or not, you pay. It adds up pretty quick and gets tacked on at the checkout. All inclusive gets my vote for the price. Perla, our housekeeper, made it feel very special and welcoming, she is the standard to strive for.

  • We went to the Marriott Cancun Resort to check out the dining and lounge/bar options. The resort is connected to the JW Marriott and offers numerous restaurants, a nice lounge in the lobby, and lots of spacious meeting/event spaces. The resort has a get nice lobby and lounge that makes you think of Spanish conquistadors. The lounge in the lobby is very nice and staff members are attentive and friendly. We decided to eat at the Japanese restaurant Mikado. The food was okay, but nothing extra special. They also have hibachi. If you like hibachi, Mikado is a great choice. After dinner we checked out some of their other restaurants and their pool/beachfront. It was nice, open, and spacious.

  • Costco package provides a nice amount of amenities beyond the room. Meal allowance really allows you to experience the great food in the area. Room itself meets the expectation of comfort. A few little things missing like a robe or slippers, but nothing to knock a star off for.

  • Amazing place to stay. The staff is friendly and is helpful. The fresh flavored water downstairs is so fresh with fruits. There is a variety of places to eat near you and isn’t far from the center. Maid service actually comes in twice. Once in the morning to do a full routine clean and once in the afternoon to prep you for night they also usually leave a sweet. They usually do it when your out so it doesn’t even bother you. Great beach and pool with a bar and jacuzzi and a basketball court, spa, and many more activities. They also have free bottled water. There is also a bar and mini market downstairs and you are also across the street from mcdonalds and seven eleven. Would stay again.

  • This place is stunning. Huge, palatial archetechture, very elegant rooms. Then there is the view of the beach side. Wow! The pool, wow! Being on the beach, wow! The other great thing, all of the staffing is outstanding! They are super friendly, super accommodating, and they were patient with my weak Spanish. All of the Steak House employees all were outstanding! They made feel like a king! The meal was totally gourmet and delicious. I didn't want to leave.
