The Chikinha is a natural park blessed with sea caverns and cenotes offering extensive opportunity for biking, zip lining, hiking, rock climbing, snorkelling, sea-cave fiving and of course photographing. Tucked in the Playa Del Carmen, the Chikinha came into notice in 1997 with its tree cenotes namely the X’tabay, Chikin Ha and Ta’ak Bil-ha. The Chikin Ha means the West water in Mayan language and features two entrances and cenote cavern with the depth varying from two to fifteen metres. The Motz Ha and X’balba Ha are the other two attractions of the place blessed with the protruding tree roots, sunbeams falling with thousand beams from the canopies of the trees and the magnificent cave formations.
