El Parque De Las Palapas - Review

El Parque de las Palapas is one place in Cancun that offers cultural interaction at its best in Cancun. An ideal place to take a stroll, having Mexican snacks, listening to some musical groups or people watching, Parque de las Palapas defines the cosmopolitan Cancun today. This place offers a distinct experience as here you can buy arts and crafts from the ''hippy'' artisans who put their wares on sale here. Parque de las Palapas was Cancun's first main square and it was here that the first Municipal President was inaugurated and thus it holds an importance of its own.  It was Parque de las Palapas that brought the first movie theatre to Cancun called as ''Cine Blanquita'' as well as the first catholic temple, the ''Iglesia de Cristo Rey''.  Due to its authentic local charm, the Parque de las Palapas has become one of the tourist attractions in Cancun that you can’t miss.

El Parque De Las Palapas, Cancun Reviews

  • We took the ADO bus down town looking for a place to eat. I found Cheester on the map close to the bus station. It was a short walk. We were informed by the waiter that the food served two people. We picked the Thai Pasta and Cheester salad. The food was fantastic. I couldn't/didn't want to stop. I don't think I have ever tasted such good tasting food. I wish there was a restaurant like this near me but I might put on too much weight.

  • Don't be scared by the prices shown on the menu. The taste and quality of food are above average. It is virtually two for one except drinks as every plate of food provided is large enough for two adults. Excellent value for the money spent. Tipping is voluntary. Highly recomended.

  • This is not the best Cheesters in Cancun...the ones at Las Américas or Plaza Outlets are better.

  • Food and service very good , one of the best restaurant I ate in Cancun ,also not expensive , the meal fit for two persons (come hungry)

  • Such a nice place, the pasta is so good in here, I recommend this place a lot. Amazing quality in the service and food!
