Isla Mujeres And Garrafon National Park, Cancun Reviews
Always have loved the park it's clean and beautiful. Food is excellent take the platinum option for better food and views. Staff always friendly and helpful please remember a tip at the end of your day these guys work hard in the heat. Snorkling good for beginners although can get a little crowded. Zip lines are fun and safe. Top bar with Jacuzzis has an amazing view of the blue sea and back to Cancun. Advise purchase the tour which will include ferry to island from Cancun and most will include transport from hotel to port.
If you are visiting cancun, this island is a must see attraction! Amazing cliff views, great food and good fun. Lots of walking... Or you can rent a buggy to drive. Takes the boat over an hour to get here, but well worth it.
We had a great time at Garrafon. We went to Dolphin Discovery first. They provided an open bar on the ferry to and from the park. The VIP buffet was delicious. The grounds are beautiful. Lockers and towels are free with trade for ID or room key. Loved the bar with swings. Snorkeling was not fun at all due to the rough waters and narrow roped off area. It was very difficult to stay within the ropes and we didn't see many fish. The zipline out into the ocean was amazing! I wish we would have done it earlier in the day because we would have done it more than once. Photos of the zipline experience are experience. Make sure you talk to the guy on the ferry after he tells you about discount. Over all we had a wonderful day and I would definitely recommend going here.
Great place to relax, or try all the activities. Good place for first time snorkeling, kayak, or zip line. Easy access to the north point ruins and sculpture park trail. Also has another pool and hot/cold tubs in the VIP area. Good food and great service in VIP, waiter brought us drinks and grilled food to our table nonstop.
The snorkeling is pretty bad. They make you wear life jackets and you can't actually snorkel over the reef. The zip lining is mediocre at best. It's crowded and nothing seems to be worth the wait. It's also very expensive for what little you actually get.
