Playa Tortugas, Cancun Reviews

  • Beautiful beach, ideal for swimming and snorkeling, there are small stalls that sell good food, a self-service store and a fun atmosphere with people and music.

  • Small hill near the beach. Bungee Jump and other actions happens here... After done with Langosta beach, we headed towards Tortugas beach. It is 2 km far from Langosta beach towards south and more knowns for Isla Mujeres ferry and Bungee Jumping. While entering the beach, lots of restaurant staff will bother you to use their service. As this is a very small beach with one small hill, not much area to explore, we decided to sit in one restaurant. I am not sure of even name of the restaurant. we ordered their mango margarita, local beer and their catch of the day fish. Fish was great and so was their mango margarita. Beach- as I said, there is not much are to explore, I was wondering why people even swimming on this beach with so less space. There was one pier where bungee jumping was happening. Also, Isla Mujeres ferry departs from here. Can come for actions but not for a swim.

  • Great place to spend your day at the beach! Located on the calm side of the ocean... (cancun hotel zone have 2 sides, a very rough waves ocean side..locals call it mar abierto and a very calm area at the entrance of the hotel zone)

  • Super small and the swimming area is small too. They have a small playground there at least but I thought by the reviews this would be better. Wouldn’t come here again. Dirty.

  • Quaint beach that one can walk to in about 30 minutes if you don't want to take one of the buses or taxis.
