Each Mayan city had a specific purpose, and Tulum was no exception. It was a seaport, trading mainly in turquoise and jade. As well as being the only Mayan city built on a coast, Tulum was one of the few protected by a wall. Made of limestone, the 784-meter wall encloses the site on three sides, is seven meters thick, and varies between three and five meters in height. You will see the House of Cenote, the mysterious Temple of the Wind God, the beautiful Temple of Paintings and Tulum’s tallest building The Castle. With essential background knowledge provided by the archaeologist guide, you’ll easily imagine how this city once served as a major seaport. You can also jump in the water at its beautiful beach and enjoy the unique view of the ruins from the water.
Book and save with this full-day, small-group combo tour that perfectly blends history, culture and adventure. Bad experience at the jewelry store (Jewelry) next to the aquarium, the shorty man with bad actitud and very rude, needs to learn how to be a good seller and customer service. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS STORE FOR THE TOURIST....
If you are a tourist coming elsewhere from Mexico the prices will be good and cheap and with a variety of stuff of souvenirs , but if you know the value of this stuff and/or if you get payed in Mexican currency the prices are so inflated and in basic stuff that are hard to obtain nearby like pharmacy, or food , this is not the place to buy go look for an Oxxo or a market Bea cause they will rip you off.
Lots of products, anything you can imagine for souvenirs. Clean and fair prices.
Very complete with its products and these have a very good price
