The Casa Roviralta is also known as El Frare Blanc or the White Friar and stands with its glory on Avinguda del Tibidabo. This “modernista” building is definitely noticeable with its whitewashed walls however it attained the name of the White Friar from being owned by a Dominican Friar community. During the period of 1903 to 1913, the Casa Roviralta went through a number of restoration projects and veranda, chapel, intricate roof space and gallery as seen now are the results of that restoration. Modernista style is reflected even on the hand crafted facade details and the door and window frames made of ceramics and brick.

So good! We were two people and way over ordered. The meals are huge. 4 people could easily split two or three meals. The lamb is amazing if you like salty food. Also the black bean and rice pudding, it's nothing like it sounds but delicious. If you enjoy wine their selection is great. This meal would have been $100 in the US but it was $50E. 1 beer, 2 hot teas, App sampler, salad, 1/8 lamb, and bread. Breath taking setting.
The house menu is awesome, no hidden fees, great service, amazing food. A must visit place. An then, enjoy the location itself, the building, the ceiling, the oven, a masterpiece of modernist architecture.
A perfect restaurant for anything: romantic diner or lunch, lunch for families, diner or lunch for groups... Meat is tasty and perfect cooked!!! Cocktails are good. From my point of view, the building indeed is marvelous, divine, a modernist house, almost like if you were eating in a museum!! I will come back for sure!!
Best Place! Super Nice Ambience and Food, Nice Price also!
The restaurant is about 10-15min from via private transport. It's a fine dining type. The cochinilla was very crunchy & delicioso.
