  • Great surf, water is often bracing but this is New England, if you don't like it then move south. My icon on this site is a pic of me at good harbor comfy in the sun in mid March one year, so it's always different. Locals get a sticker, if you don't have one and want to go on either a hot or weekend day, best be on the road before 8am, but it is well worth it. At low tide you can walk out to salt island which is very cool (and also for sale for three quarter mill) and carry in what you carry out but there are bathrooms, showers, vendors, and a hearty snack bar.

  • Great beach to go to for the day. The parking lot is close and there is nice facilities close as well. The beach itself is fun and has lots of stuff to do, like boogie boarding and wave jumping. There is even an island you can walk out to during low tide

  • One if the best beaches on the North Shore. There is fee parking and a concession stand. There's also a creek where children play. Go early . Parking fills up fast.

  • Parking on-site is $25. That is something to keep in mind if you bring a lot of stuff and don't want to lug it from a mile away where there might be free parking. If you can get over the price of parking, the beach is wonderful. It is very big so you will be able to stake out your own little area. The sand is smooth and devoid of rocks and the like. There are bathrooms and a small food stand on the path between the beach and the paid parking lot.

  • I'm not a big beach person, or water for that mater. Went on a family trip with my wife and kids and her family. It was quite beautiful and a lot more enjoyable than I had expected. There are bathrooms and showers to wash off sand. They also have an ice cream stand. Very nice place to go with the family.
