Covering an area of over 380 acres, the Cape May Historic District features about 600 buildings made in Late Victorian style and Bungalow style. Considered to be America’s oldest seaside resort, the district has a unique character with its various architectural style buildings including Gothic revival, Queen Anne, French Second Empire, and Italianate. These buildings give Cape May a historical identity and uniqueness which makes it worth witnessing.
