Also known as South African Jewish museum, it was officially inaugurated by Nelson Mandela. Displaying the accounts of history of Jewish community in South Africa through interactive videos, Jewish artefacts and history, the museum is a part of the Jewish Synagogue.
The Jewish museum has a special family tree accounting history of 15,000 families that migrated from Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus, during the time of harsh Russian oppression of Soviet Jewry.
