  • Absolutely breathtaking. I visited this place with family and it was an amazing experience. The nature completely takes over each of your senses as you go from brushy areas to open fields and then suddenly you're next to the beach. It's definitely worth a visit, especially just before spring when the flowers are blooming.

  • This is a lovely little reserve stocked with several species of buck. It's one of the places to go to in flower season on the West Coast. Prolific with flowers. Easy access from Cape Town because it's just an hour away. Get there early because it can be almost bumper to bumper in flower season. Otherwise it's very quiet

  • Beautiful place to visit. The flowers this year were awesome. Pack a picnic basket and spend the day amid nature at it's best.

  • Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the tranquility of the park.! Great for bird watching. Stunning walking trails. Those with kids will be attracted to the safe swimming conditions of the lagoon.

  • The entrance fee is expensive but that is typical of all SANPARKS. There is good views, birding is fantastic and loved the hides and ample things to see for nature lovers especially during spring where the wildflowers are a popular attraction. Make sure you visit on a full tank as there is a lot of driving to be done to reach the different points and attractions the park offers.
