  • This is the place to go for walking on the city walls! Many excellent views. Bring your camera! The audio tour of the castle is also excellent.

  • You cannot go to Carcasonne without spending time in the Château - to understand how the fort was defended / to walk the walls / to truly see the beauty of this place. Absolutely recommend - be aware if you have a fear of heights there are some parts which may scare you!

  • What an amazing experience... and incredibly cheap for what you get... The views, learning why things are where they are; understanding the past of this amazing city are a to-do if you are in the area!

  • Well worth the 9€ entrance. The audio guide is 3€ extra and quite helpful to understand some bits and pieces

  • 9€/person. Takes about 1-2hrs to walk around. Good views and worth a look.
