Camouflaged amongst the trees and bushes, you gingerly peek out from behind your make-shift shield. Only the trilling of birds and the rustling of leaves accompany the sounds of your breathing, and finally you spot your target. Swiftly, like a cat, you position yourself, and take aim. You’re about to pull the trigger when suddenly, bam! You’re hit on the knee and you howl, as purple paint drips down on to your shoe. Established by paintballing enthusiasts, the company seeks to support the paintballing community by creating a fun, safe environment for all kinds of people. With its up-to-date equipment, environmental-friendly paint, 6 different game zones and a 5-star accreditation by the UKPBA, this is possibly one of the best paint ball centres in the world.

• The centre is situated in the heart of a forest and there are six game zones you can choose from. Each is themed around a historical event and has stunning physical features between which players can hide and plan their next move. ‘A Bridge too Far’, ‘Castle Wallenberg’ and ‘D-Day Landing’ recreate allied operations into Europe during World War II, ‘Command Post’ aims to resemble seemingly deserted hills in Afghanistan, you can take your troops down the deceptively quiet Ho Chi Minh trail and into a village teeming with guerrilla soldiers in ‘Viet-Cong Village’ and the dark, gloomy ‘Hunted Graveyard’ will send shivers of fear down your bike, besides waves of adrenaline.
• You’ll get to battle with random groups of people. Many paintballers here are celebrating their birthday parties, engagements and other events, and so can you. The experience will be unforgettable as well as a ton of fun.
• The people at Delta Force Paintball make it a point to work with the environment and not against it. With bio-degradable paintballs, a government licensed waste disposal system, woodland management plans and in close association with The Woodland Trust, you can ensure that you’re not having fun at the expense of Mother Nature.

• To avoid disappointment we recommend booking in advance, so call or e-mail them and book a session.
• Players should wear old, comfortable clothing and may also want to bring a change of clothes.  Boots with ankle support and deep tread/rubber soles are strongly recommended.
• Paintball gloves are available to buy at the centre, or you can bring your own. 
• You may also want to bring some money for purchasing additional paintballs. They accept cash and credit/debit cards verified by PIN only. 
• Fees apply to the use of credit and debit cards.
• You can bring certain items of your own equipment to the centre, but it is always at the discretion of the Centre Manager whether you can use it.  
• The minimum age of all players on the date of the game at national centres is between 8-10 years old, depending on the location chosen and event type.  For mini paintball the minimum age is 8 years old.  For regular paintball the minimum age is 10 years old.

• Train: Take the train to Radyr Station, the Paintball centre is a 30-40 minute walk from the station so it's best to take an inexpensive taxi.
• Bus: Take bus 122 from Cardiff central bus station (ask for Rhydlafar - limited Sunday service). Drop off is a 10 minute walk from the paintball centre.
