If your new to Carmel-By-The-Sea then this is a most see. Very cool courtyard and small bar atmosphere. The food and drinks have always been solid. Service is good but not great. Once you’ve been there, done that. Then more than likely you’ll just stop back in for a quick drink before moving on to the next place.
Food is good but not anything special. Service leaves much to be desired. Cool dining area, well decorated and well heated, despite being outside. Hard to find, so slightly easier to get seating than anywhere else in Carmel. More expensive than it's worth, but everything here is. Happy we got fed at all tonight
I really like hanging out in the pub, which is a separate building back behind the patio. Service was a little slow but I was in no hurry at all. Just relaxing at the bar, having some beers, and the food was worth the wait. The decor is great and includes some Dirty Harry memorabilia.
AWFUL! Food was well below par for the high price point. The steak (called the ‘Dirty Dinner’ was exactly that) with poor quality meat and sloppy mashed potatoes for $32. The seafood pasta was bland for $29. The setting is great, the waitress was attentive.... nice place for a drink. Let the waitress and Manager know about the food and had an uninterested response.
Clint's restaurant was incredible. Homely and tasty. Only thing that could have made it better was meeting the man himself.
