Carson Mineral Hot Springs Reviews & Ratings
Wow... what a gem 💎 What a weekend!! This historic resort began is 1878 and has a fully amazing 1920’s rustic simplicity to the bath house. The claw foot tubs, wrap beds, sauna, massage rooms, facials with candles and sea salt lamps to add to the magical glow.... the mineral waters have a unique earthy smell (even the hot tub on the balcony for the rooms is filled with this magical water), it’s such a wonderful and different experience than chemical filled water that’s everywhere else! I literally had deep bruises that faded and disappeared from just our first night soaking!!! I wish everyone could go and enjoy the magic of this! My fiancé and I enjoyed our couples massages and just unplugged and enjoyed the weekend 💜 Even the food at the restaurant (which is at the golf course) was delicious! The staff was friendly and very accommodating. For anyone wanting something different, relaxing, one of kind experience go here and experience the magic. We cannot wait to come back!
Love this Hot Springs. My Aunt and I both have piercings and the natural spring water here healed all of them almost over night! I suggest going to the private bathhouse and doing a 50 minute soak instead of the 25 minute soak and 25 minute wrap. The ladies side of the bath house was very nice, soothing and relaxing. They have private bathtubs, separated by curtains, that way you can still whisper softly with others. My Uncle who went in the men’s side said that they had no curtains or privacy and when he asked for a towel the 16 year old attendant chucked one at him from across the room. In conclusions, 9/10 recommend the women’s bathhouse, 2/10 recommend the men’s bathhouse.
I really wished it was a better experience since we drove a lot to get there. The lobby smelled like a wet dog and the bath house was utterly dirty. I couldn't make myself to sit in the mineral tub when I saw the gray film at the bottom of the tub and practically did not use the spa at all. I dressed and went back to the front desk and asked for my money and they refused to give my money back and told me to call back and talk to the manager in few hours. They didn't even care to receive any feedback about the dirty tubs to improve!!! I'm sorry but that is called absolutely terrible customer service. I have been in hot spring spa before many times and I can understand the difference between mineral built up and, fungus and mold!
This place more look like 2 star motel not a resort. Building looks so old. It’s so sad they sold Boneville Resort that place was gorgeous as soon as you step in its smelled different kind of oils. Carlson Hot Spring need a serious remodeling, they need a real pool where you can swim not just a big hot tub and super cold tub where you can’t get in. Please remodel this place so it can be pleasant to stay.
This place is super dank everybody should go the mineral pools make me feel so much more refreshed
