Located close the affluent and tourist-centric Bocagrande neighbourhood, this beach is well provided with amenities - vendors selling food, sunshades and parasols and loungers. That convenience is probably what draws most of its crowd, as its water and sand isn’t as pretty as you’d find on the nearby islands. It’s the longest beach around, so at least you’ll always be able to find a quiet spot all to yourself. It gets quite busy during peak tourist season and during weekends. The best time to visit is obviously during sunsets. There are a good number of restaurants and bars and cafes nearby. It’s fine enough as beaches go, but just remember that Cartagena has far better.
