The Palace Of Bishop Of Casertavecchia or the Palazzo dei Vescovi di Casertavecchia is nestled in the hilltop medieval village and is dedicated to the Archangel St Michael. Bearing relevance to the Baroque, Romanesque and Gothic architecture, the Palace Of Bishop Of Casertavecchia is built in the grey Campanian tuff. The external facade reflects a trinavian structure with grey and ochre coloured Tufa stone. The marble portals are adorned with vegetable ornamentation depicting the ancient iconography. The lozenges marble built southern facade and the six marble arches holding the blind arches of the eardrum are notable. The interior to the building boasts of the truss covered central nave and eighteen cippolini marble columns.
